Welcome to a transformative experience in the heart of yoga’s birthplace. Our 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) is crafted for those ready to move from practitioner to teacher or simply to deepen their practice in a meaningful way.
Held within the inspiring surroundings of Rishikesh, with the river Ganges and the Himalayas as your backdrop, this program offers more than asanas; it offers insight, growth and connection.
Rishikesh, known as the Yoga Capital of the World, is one of the most sacred and authentic destinations for anyone looking to deepen their yogic journey. Its spiritual ambience, traditional teachings, and serene natural setting make it the perfect home for your Yoga Teacher Training.
Authentic Yogic Tradition:
Rishikesh is filled with ancient ashrams, traditional lineages, and experienced yoga masters. Training here allows you to learn yoga in its purest, most traditional form—rooted in philosophy, mindfulness, and disciplined practice.
Spiritual Environment:
The sound of temple bells, daily chants, and the collective energy of thousands of seekers create an uplifting atmosphere that supports inner transformation.
Sacred Ganga & Himalayan Presence:
Practicing yoga beside the River Ganga or in the foothills of the Himalayas brings a sense of peace and grounding that is hard to find elsewhere.
Global Yoga Community:
Students from different cultures and countries gather here, making it a beautiful space for connection, growth, and shared wisdom.
Set against the foothills of the Himalayas and flowing alongside the sacred Ganga River, Rishikesh offers a learning environment unlike anywhere else in the world. The city blends spiritual depth, natural beauty, ancient tradition, and modern yoga education into one powerful training experience. For aspiring yoga teachers, studying in Rishikesh is not just about earning a certificate. It is about living the yogic lifestyle at its source.
Rishikesh has been home to sages, seekers, and yogis for centuries. Even today, the rhythm of the city follows the flow of yogic life. The sound of temple bells, early morning chants, flowing river energy, and disciplined ashram routines create an atmosphere that naturally supports deep learning and inner focus. This environment plays a major role in shaping confident, grounded yoga teachers.
Yoga in Rishikesh is not treated as a fitness trend. It is preserved as a complete system of self-discipline, awareness, and self-transformation. Teacher training programs here are deeply connected to classical yoga philosophy, traditional asana practice, pranayama, meditation, and yogic lifestyle principles.
Students learn not only how to teach postures, but also how to live yoga with integrity. Daily routines often include early morning sadhana, quiet self-study, and mindful living. This depth of practice helps future teachers develop authenticity, stability, and clarity in their teaching.
The presence of the Ganga River creates a strong spiritual atmosphere. Many students describe feeling mentally lighter, emotionally clearer, and more focused during their training in Rishikesh. The surrounding Himalayan landscape adds to this grounding effect.
Training in this environment naturally supports:
This energetic support is difficult to recreate in busy urban locations.
Rishikesh attracts yoga students from all over the world. You share your training journey with people from different cultures, backgrounds, and life paths. This creates a rich learning environment where perspectives are exchanged, friendships are formed, and global teaching confidence grows.
Teaching yoga to such diverse groups during training prepares you to handle students of all ages, bodies, and cultures once you begin teaching professionally.
While you immerse yourself in yoga training, Rishikesh also offers soulful places to explore during your free time:
