Course Overview

The Sound Healing Meditation Course is a holistic program that introduces you to the science and practice of sound therapy. Through guided meditations, sound instruments, and mindful breathing, you'll learn how sound influences the mind, body, and subtle energy systems.

5 Days | 50 Hours | Foundational Training

About Level 1 (5 Days | 50 Hours)

Level 1 is an immersive foundational training designed to help you understand the science and practice of sound healing.

This is where you build your base.
Not just in playing instruments — but in presence, listening, and holding space.

Over 5 intensive days, you will explore how vibration affects the nervous system, brain waves, and emotional states. You will learn the principles behind frequency, resonance, entrainment, and how sound can shift the body from stress response to deep regulation.

This level focuses on:
  • Foundations of sound and consciousness
  • Nervous system basics & trauma-aware awareness
  • Introduction to instruments (singing bowls, chimes, voice, basic gong understanding)
  • Playing techniques and sequencing
  • Structuring a 45–60 minute sound healing session
  • Ethics, safety, and space-holding principles

You will practice daily — both giving and receiving sound — so you embody the work rather than just understand it intellectually.

By the end of Level 1, you will be able to:
  • Confidently play core sound healing instruments
  • Understand how sound influences the body and mind
  • Design and facilitate a basic group sound meditation
  • Hold a safe and grounded healing space
  • Begin offering introductory sound healing sessions

This level is ideal for beginners, yoga teachers, wellness practitioners, therapists, and anyone who feels called to work with sound as a tool for healing.

Level 1 builds your roots.
Level 2 deepens your mastery.

Dress Code

what-to-wear-to-yoga

We strongly recommend wearing loose, breYogakulam Academyble cotton clothing, allowing your skin—and especially the navel area—to breathe freely and remain comfortable throughout the extensive practice sessions.

For these reasons, we discourage wearing leggings, which are often made from synthetic fabrics treated with PFAS ("forever chemicals")—known to cause hormone disruption, thyroid dysfunction, and even certain cancers—and BPA, another endocrine-disrupting chemical linked to long-term health risks. You may read more about the health hazards here, here and here
